GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Yesterday, our Year 7 cohort were lucky enough to enjoy a trip to the pantomime at Fairfield Halls, where they watched Beauty and the Beast. The afternoon was filled with laughter, festive fun and plenty of ice cream! The students had a wonderful time, making happy memories and rounding off their first term in the most enjoyable way!🎄☃

The cup run is over! Unfortunately the Year 7 boys have lost out to St Bede’s in the District Cup Quarter final this week. The season is not over for our boys with plenty of friendlies and one league game of the season left vs Warlingham in February! Well done all! ❤️🖤⚽️🥶🌧️💪

Yesterday we were delighted to host a festive Christmas Party, welcoming wonderful residents from @Anchor - Elizabeth Court, Cherry Lodge, Tupwood Gate and Longmead House! Guests enjoyed piano playing from William H, beautiful carols from our school choir, and plenty of Christmas craft activities for everyone to get involved in. And of course… no festive gathering would be complete without a mince pie! Our students had an amazing time connecting with members of our senior community. Watching them create Christmas crafts together was truly heart-warming and a perfect reminder of the joy that comes from bringing generations together. ❤️ Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning so special! 🎅 #community #proud #christmascraft #destaffordschool
