I have lived in Caterham since 1997 and have two children one is currently a student at de Stafford. Following a 4 year term as a Governor at a local infant school, I became a Governor at de Stafford in June 2011. I have a degree in Psychology and undertook further studies in Human Resources to gain Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD). My career was initially in the voluntary sector, working with a housing association for older people and then a disability charity. In 2008 I became self-employed, helping companies with a variety of HR requirements such as reorganisations, employee relations issues, and mediation.

I grew up in Reigate and moved back to Oxted 12 years ago. I became a Governor at de Stafford in June 2011. I have a law degree and then qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, specialising in landlord and tenant. I have worked extensively in private practice in London and locally, in the public sector in Hertfordshire, as a facilities and property manager and for a time in Jersey. Until recently I was an Operations Director by a FTSE100 property company in London, but am now starting a new career as a Bursar of a local primary school. In my spare time I have a small dog and a large horse.
