GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Curriculum Spaces

We are committed to delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, supported by specialist teaching spaces:

  • Drama: Two dedicated drama studios and a Main Hall stage provide the perfect setting for regular high-quality performances and rehearsals.

 

  • Design Technology & Food Technology: Well-equipped workshops and kitchens enable students to develop practical skills in a safe, modern environment.

 

  • Music: Our music department boasts specialist teaching rooms, a keyboard suite, a class set of Macbooks, and individual practice rooms for small group and one-to-one tuition (including singing, drums, piano, and guitar).

 

  • Art: Spacious, well-resourced art rooms—including an on-site kiln—allow students to explore a wide range of media, including ceramics.

 

  • Science: we have a well-resourced Science department with seven purpose-built labs to support a rich and engaging curriculum.
