GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

First fixture back and it was a cold one! Our Year 8 footballers lost 7-3 in their friendly tonight vs Oriel High School. The game unfortunately didn’t go our way in the 2nd half, with it being 3-3 at half time. Goals from Joshua W (2) and Thomas L (1)❤️🖤⚽️🥶❄️

Yesterday, our Year 7 cohort were lucky enough to enjoy a trip to the pantomime at Fairfield Halls, where they watched Beauty and the Beast. The afternoon was filled with laughter, festive fun and plenty of ice cream! The students had a wonderful time, making happy memories and rounding off their first term in the most enjoyable way!🎄☃

The cup run is over! Unfortunately the Year 7 boys have lost out to St Bede’s in the District Cup Quarter final this week. The season is not over for our boys with plenty of friendlies and one league game of the season left vs Warlingham in February! Well done all! ❤️🖤⚽️🥶🌧️💪
