This rapidly improving and caring school provides students with a satisfactory level of education. Good leadership and
management have led to better teaching and an improved curriculum, with resultant better behaviour and progress
from students. The dedicated headteacher has worked unflinchingly since his appointment to overcome a significant
legacy of staffing difficulties and financial deficit and has effected a significant change in the culture of the school.
Students now have high aspirations, a good focus on their learning and are making satisfactory progress. Parents are
strongly supportive of the school; one commented 'We have seen a large improvement in the school and are very
pleased overall with the education that our children are getting'.
